The problem
What it replaces
A store chain needs the till, the stockroom and head office to agree. When POS, inventory and purchasing live in different systems, shift-end cash does not reconcile, stock counts drift, transfers go missing between stores, and tax invoices have to be fixed by hand for each country.
This system runs the store end to end — POS with drawer reconciliation and shift reports, inventory with lots and serials, a department and class hierarchy, purchase orders, receiving, transfers, handheld stock-takes and a configurable tax engine — across subsidiaries, stores and currencies.
